(Sydney, Australia) Leading cloud and managed service provider Nexon Asia Pacific (Nexon) will deliver a business solution to help Independent Purchasing Company Asia Pacific (IPC Asia Pacific) create efficiencies and launch a platform for growth through a five-year partnership agreement.

IPC Asia Pacific is the purchasing, supply chain and services company responsible for negotiating supply contracts, managing deliveries, providing technology and support services for more than 3400 Subway® restaurants within the Asia Pacific region.

Looking to replace their existing business applications, IPC Asia Pacific sought out a trusted partner to deliver an end-to-end operating solution, selecting the Microsoft Dynamics 365 platform following a detailed market review process.

IPC Asia Pacific Chief Executive Officer Duane Barber believes Nexon’s approach will completely transform the organisation’s internal operations, building an innovative technology stack that will enable IPC Asia Pacific to continue to leverage cloud based solutions through a flexible and extensible platform.

“As one of the largest buyers of food and services across the region, access to real time data is critical in our decision making,” Mr Barber said. “This platform is the next phase in our strategic vision to ensure that we will meet the demands of the franchisee of the future. Transformation of our core platforms is key to this evolution.”

The technology solution is designed to be integrated with every touchpoint of the business, from accounting, to supply chain, retail technology, loyalty, communications and the contracts and procurement teams, right through to a sandwich cost calculator that enables the business to determine the cost of any Sub, down to the last cent.

Nexon Chief Executive Officer Barry Assaf said the company’s expertise in managed services and integrated application platforms along with their proven credibility in delivering strategic solutions within QSR and food and beverage industries, ensured Nexon were frontrunners during IPC Asia Pacific’s intensive RFP process.

“We’re thrilled to partner with IPC Asia Pacific to provide them with technology and optimised business processes,” said Mr Assaf.

“The partnership is a testament to the innovative forethought of our team of experts who provide a strategic understanding across all technology streams, which will benefit the team at IPC Asia Pacific”

As a certified and gold Microsoft Partner, Nexon has deep expertise in Microsoft solutions including Dynamics 365, Microsoft 365, Azure, Data Warehousing and the Power Apps platform.

Phil Goldie, Senior Director, small, medium and corporate business at Microsoft Australia applauded the team at Nexon for their innovative proof of concepts, which secured the partnership with IPC Asia Pacific.

“We were impressed by Nexon’s concepts which really demonstrated the power of Microsoft Dynamics 365,” said Mr Goldie. “Access to data is the key to successful digital transformation, and by leveraging Dynamics 365, IPC Asia Pacific will gain more immediate insights – further helping them to optimise operations and ensure customer satisfaction.”

“We’re proud to support Nexon as it delivers an advanced suite of business solutions to IPC Asia Pacific over the next five years.”

The new partnership will include the deployment and management of Microsoft Dynamics 365 customer service, Microsoft Portals, Business Central, Power BI and Power Apps at more than 3400 restaurants within Asia Pacific.
