SYDNEY, AUSTRALIA – July 13, 2017 – Recognising the drive towards digital transformation and the accompanying effect of cyber vulnerabilities, Nexon Asia Pacific (Nexon) has partnered with McAfee, the world’s largest pure-play cyber security company, to bolster its managed security services portfolio to address the cybersecurity realities that organisations, big and small, are facing today.
With offices in Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane, Nexon is an Australian cloud and managed service provider that provides a wide array of managed services including cloud and security services, unified communications, business continuity, network infrastructure and business applications to customers across commercial, government and not-for-profit organisations in the country.
As reported in the news recently, there has been an increasing number of data leaks, malwares and serious shortage of IT security skills, which makes partnering with a managed service provider increasingly attractive.
Adam Boreham, Channel Account Manager McAfee commented, “The threat landscape is always changing and managed service providers, such as Nexon, with their specialised industry and domain knowledge will be in the best position to offer customers not only the befitting solution, but most importantly knowledge and experience from a domain specialist, such as McAfee who is always up-to-date with the ever-changing security landscape. We are delighted to collaborate with Nexon to provide security services to customers in the age of digital transformation and how their organisations can be more cyber-resilient”
Barry Assaf, Managing Director at Nexon Asia Pacific said, “As a managed service provider, we talk to customers in the field often and we know that cyber security is no longer about who will face the threat but rather how customers can aptly respond to threats when they appear. There will always be possibilities of vulnerabilities in any Internet-enabled device, which hackers exploit to gain access to private data and information. Our partnership with McAfee will provide us with more tools and resources to enhance our solutions developed for vertical industry and customers’ security posture and resilience to attack.”
The partnership will focus on endpoint security initially with Nexon planning to further integrate and embed McAfee’s products into its solution offerings, as security becomes ever more important in today’s market.
